I wrote this piece for classical guitar ensemble after pondering the "Sun Trail", an ideal path that the sun travels across the sky. It is (to the best of my knowledge) from the Ojibwe language. We all seek to travel through life on an even, ideal path of health and prosperity. In reality, we chase dreams, get depressed, and have delusions of grandeur, all of which distract us from our ideal trail.
